SESSION ONE

The sparkle of fire is the witness of your worth, the silent flounce of the water is the witness of your softness. The rising of the sun in the east and the sunset in the west is the witness of your rhythm, rhythmical movement of the moon is the witness of your perfection. My words, my soul are the witness of oneness of glory Allah whose glorification cannot be described in words.

Honorable chairman, esteemed principal, venerated jury of judges, respected teachers and my dear friends. I Fiza Showkat, host for this session warmly welcome you all on behalf of K H E I. Furthermore I thank you all on behalf of organizer of program for gracing the event with your pleasing presence. It’s really encouraging and overwhelming for our wee effort. It has shoot up our morale. This program titled “The Great Orators” is an initiative of our school to impart public speaking skills in us so that we can compete with the world and be able to talk confidently and head to head with those who deem us educationally inferior. The program shall have two sessions that would consist thought provoking motivational speeches, and an insightful debate and some talk shows and also there shall be a presentation on welcoming the upcoming month of Ramadhan.

I strongly assure you that this program will be life changing experience and a source of great inspiration, insight and yes for sure joy for us all.  I believe that you are all curious to witness these performances. Let me proceed and lift the curtains and show you the beauties of our school.

For that I call upon boys of 9th standard to chant our school song. Please put your hands together to give them a warm welcome.

Our first speaker of the day is sister Saniya syed of 9th standard. She is a passionate public speaker and has received many awards for her mindboggling talks. Her sharing and caring nature makes her apple of eye to her friends, at this age she is clear and expressive about her thoughts. She is very kind hearted and amiable girl. She is interested in literary writing and reading. Thus aspires to become a great writer.

Albert Einstein was once asked, “What is special in you”?

He replied, “I have no special talents I am just passionately curious”.

Curiosity……. A trait of all great men….beginning of all sciences and great gift to students.

To know more comprehensively about curiosity let’s welcome saniya on stage to give her talk.

Did curiosity ring any bell? Yes it must have. Be curious, be great.

It has become a common belief that growing population is a threat. Is it really so or something else is the case? Have you ever been curious and critical to know the truth about it. If not so far then we must think ahead……To facilitate your curiosity we have something for you. Yes, a debate by our great debaters of our great school. To have a debate on the same issue… Is growing population a threat. Let’s know. Hence welcome the debaters.

We have two debate teams – 9th orange verses 9th blue. 9th orange is affirmative and 9th blue is going to speak against the notion. There will be two constructive speeches, one by each team where debaters will construct their topic by sound arguments and then there will be four rebuttals, two by each team where teams will be rebutting by offering a conterary arguement.

First constructive speech will be by affirmatives.

Sister Mehar  is a passionate and Zealous girl. She is aspirant to participate in every activity conducted in the school. Her jovial nature makes her exceptional in her friend circle. She is very good in writing and aspires to be a great writer.

Now we will have second constructive speech by negatives.

Sister Hayah is a smart and talented girl. She is very much passionate about literature and strongly aims to win a noble prize in literature. She got inspired by her English teacher Mr. Asif Sultan and wants to become a great poet like him. she is a public speaker and a good writer. Her hobbies include reading novels and poetry.

Scintillating thoughts, mind baffling arguments, impressive information. This debate might have really agitated your thoughts. The debaters team I am sure have put the jury in fix. Let’s proceed forward.

Our next speaker is Muteen Shah of 9th standard. Muteen is a studious boy and works hard to his excellence.

It is said that don’t keep your dreams in your eyes. They may fall as tears. Keep them in your heart so that every heartbeat may remind you of those dreams.

To speak on topic dreams I call upon Muteen.

Please give him a warm welcome.

Thanks Muteen for this insightful speech.

Drug addiction is a problem that has been increasing immensely among our society today. Drug addictions can only hinder or restrain us from accomplishing goals or dreams in life. People sometimes feel they are too bright, too powerful, too much in control to become addictive. Addiction can trap anyone. It can lead to harming one’s body, causing problems in family structure and contribute to the delinquency in the society. The sooner people seek help for drug addiction problems, the more chances they have of gaining control of their life.

To present a skit titled “Drugs Destroy” I request Mysar of 9th standard and his team to exhibit their play.

Please give them a huge round of applause.

It was a heart wrenching tragic story of a victim of drug abuse. Drugs destroy, annihilate and ruin the lives of plenty of people. To eradicate this disastrous evil we must see it’s root cause. That is what prompted Mysar to indulge into the skills, filth, discouragement, bulley and inferiority complex. These are the things we should refrain ourselves from.

Areeba of grade 9th orange is going to give next talk on the topic positive thinking. Areeba is good in studies. She usually stands among the top five students of her class. Her hobbies include reading books and painting. She aspires to be a journalist.

Do you know that one of the most important keys to success is positive thinking?

With this key it is easier to achieve success, improve relationships, have better health, and enjoy happiness, satisfaction and inner peace. This key, also helps in the daily affairs of life, making everything flow more smoothly, and with less friction. A positive attitude makes life look brighter and promising.

So, let’s listen to sister Areeba speaking on topic positive thinking.

Please welcome sister Areeba.

Yes, we have to think positive and thus keep rocking.

In today’s global world, the importance of English cannot be denied and ignored since English is the most common language spoken everywhere. With the help of developing technology, English has been playing a major role in many sectors including medicine, engineering, and education, which in my opinion, is the most important arena where English is needed and the problems in learning it are more than it’s importance. So, to have a talk show on problems in learning English language I request sister Sofia, Tuba and Saliba.
Please give them a warm welcome.

This was all about this session. I thank you all for patiently listening.

Now I would like to conclude this session with a poem Beast that eats love by Mr. Asif Sultan

It is the beast that eats goodness

Leaves man in guilt and deep distress

It is the snake that sucks all love

No relation sees it’s so ruthless,

Venom it spreads in affable blood

Turns it bitter and affectionless

Faith it is that taints your pure love

Loathsome it makes your great beingness

Folks cluster around to a living heart

And the one who shouts is the one heard less

Brave is not one who wrestles men down

But the one who waits it’s vent suppress

Anger, berserk horse that failures ride

Rein it too firm and veer to success.

Wa Aakhiru Daa’vana Anil Hamdu Lillahi Robbil Aalameen.

SESSION TWO

ASALAMUALIKUM-WARAMATULAHIWABARAKATUH…

May peace, mercy and blessings of all mighty ALLAH be showered upon you all…

I call upon sister MEHAK to begin the second session with some verses of QURAN.

Jazakillah khair wa ahsanal jazah.

I MOHAMMAD ZAID of 9th standard shall be your host for last session of this alighting program titled “THE GREAT ORATORS’’

Have this been an extra ordinary program so far…

Yes, I strongly believe it has been…

As you all know that the most blessed month of the year is coming and it’s blessings we are all hoping to be achieved.

To welcome this sacred month I request the girls of 9th standard to flock to the stage and soothe us all with the RAMADHAN song.

SHAHRU RAMADAANALLAZEE UNZILA FEEHIL QURAN.HUDALLINAASI WA BAYYINAATIM MINAL HUDA WALFURQAN.

Indeed, RAMADHAN is filled with abundant virtues…May ALLAH make us of those who are going to witness this blessed month not only to live in it but to please our all mighty and make our AKIRAH good.

Life is not easy for any of us. But what of that? We must have perseverance and above all confidence in ourselves. We must believe that we are gifted with something, and that this thing, at whatever cost must be attained. One important key to success is self confidence…So I call upon AFREEN to give a speech on self confidence.

Really incredible. This was a great effective speech by AFREEN …and I hope from now onwards you will develop self confidence in yourself.

We all want to know what is a true success? and how to lead a successful life? Why only few people are successful and most are not?...These questions are hovering in the minds of millions.

In order to get the answer of these questions. I would like to call upon SULAIMAN of class 9th who’s passion is to become a scientist and is interested in reading fiction books and creative writing , poetry and short stories. So please welcome brother SULIMAN to talk on the topic success.

Thanks SULIMAN.

Every great dream begins with a dreamer. So dream big.

One more presentation dedicated to the upcoming month of RAMADHAN. That is a talk show on the subject of RAMADHAN. So, be ready to behold this enlightening talk show. So I call upon NAIRA,IMAN and RONAK of 9th standard.

Very scintillating this was. The talk show has acquainted us with lots of information about RAMADHAN.

Sometimes we can lose interest in studies, if it seems like there is too much to do, if you don’t like a subject, or if you just find school boring?...Instead of thinking education as a task and something you just have to do, why not make the initial and most important years of your life more enjoyable? If you focus on creating the right attitude and developing some good habits, you can stay interested in school and succeed…so to know further about HOW TO DEVELOP INTEREST IN STUDIES. I request sister UZMA of 9th standard to come on the stage and give a brief talk on the topic.

To disclose the results and conclude the program. Now, at last I would like to call upon our respected ASIF SIR…

                                                   Good Luck for your Anchoring
