In the desert- Imagination writing.... by Asif Sultan Matta

Imagination Writing In the desert Asif Sultan 15-November-2015 She is wearing a shabby dusty garb, sand blemishes apparent, laughing with excitement; her hair tangled with sand, face stained. She has clutched her knees bensing down as she's tired, but chin up, eyes sparkling glued to me with passion; voice hoarcing with panting out of fatigue- still aspiring more love from me; running after me to catch me for a tight hug...  I am tired though but wanting you to chase me again to catch me,  to push me down to the sand again and love me... You want to play, play like a kid; run after me and tickle me so that I can fall down hence  to be mounted on by you... I remain docile, letting you catch me, push me down so that I can feel your love and I too can give vent to my overwhelming love feelings. Now I see you tired, gasping out of fatigue; lying straight on me. I cuddle you for some time then I make you sit up. I stand up and hold you in my arms, you coiling yours round my n

Her tears may drown us... by Asif Sultan Matta

Her tears may drown us. Asif Sultan Matta 22-November-2015 A feather in our cap; a great reason to boast about; a milk stream in our owned paradise, without which it is empty and sheenless- Yes Dal Lake. It is what we proudly feign about--- we may not call it a flowing milk stream in the paradise, cause' lake doesn't flow, but it doesn't adorn and deck it less than that shining white stream. Mountains, hills and hillocks beside it would have been colorless and barren without this lake in their lap. Lulling this beautiful inlet causes them brighten more and reflect their beauty more. Dal-Lake serves as the sun to shine our moonlike valley. As sun sets, its water mesmerizes every beholders eyes and gives them a healing soothe.  Ah! More's the pity that we, the custodians of this beautiful chunk,  leave no stone unturned in its defilement. This sacred lake in the paradise  is secrileged by those who represent it as holy by deeming its dwelling location as a paradise

Herald of my end... Asif Sultan Matta

Herald of my end... Asif Sultan Matta 07-10-2015 You are the most beautiful gift which God has ever bestowed upon me. Remembering you constantly makes me remain in constant peace and merry. What else do I see than the ravishing smiling face of yours, having my two worlds there in- your eyes-- my sun and the moon-- your shining face never escapes from my sight...  I wish I were the kohl you apply in your glittering eyes. I'd smear within them and get absorbed in these oceans.. What else would I need then? You'd never cry then to lose me...would you? The edges of your eyelids would be my abode- Indeed a soothing abode it would be. A drop of your tear would scatter me down to your cheek that would herald my end... ~Asif Sultan (07-10-2015)

FEAR TO PART- A POEM BY ASIF SULTAN MATTA

FEAR TO PART... ASIF SULTAN MATTA   Monday, 28th September 2015 Once more the fear engulfed my heart, the fear to part, ever abides; The fear, that makes my nights cry and quivers within me intense tide;  Once more my eyes may leak the tears And drown my world, wrench dry inside shivering usual and rest just rare  Is dread of death or love's chide? forlorn and fearful seems my fate no one to share no one is guide.  Should I once more console my wits? snub  the  dark  and  show  it  sky? passion to stand and zeal to fight,  but heart is chained and hands tied.

IS THIS THE LOVE I FEEL? A POEM BY ASIF SULTAN MATTA

I S THIS THE LOVE I FEEL? ASIF SULTAN MATTA 18-08-2015 (2nd EDITION) You stole my sleep and took  away my rest Is this the love I feel or its just a lust? The delighting care and reluctant smile These catchy traits am I to again trust? Your eternal care why do I crave for? Is this the love I feel, why my mind is so fussed? Your smile caused by me breeds a great bliss To her my broken heart should I really entrust? Departure of yours let me so lonely, To forget you forthwith, My heart can't  be thrust, The pain you're with is so evident to me To alleviate it soundly, I want to do my best, I would be yours ever, but the hurdles I fear Your very delicate heart I don't want it to go bust. I would hug you tight, and caress your pretty face Which should never last, I wish to have that tryst...

Unceasing Presence...(EID SPECIAL) ~ by Asif Sultan Matta

Unceasing Presence...(EID SPECIAL) ~Asif Sultan Matta 18-07-2015 The day of bliss, merry and joy for us all, but my moon yet to appear. Though unceasing presence of yours found in my unruly heart but it's constantly pining for more nearness and presence of yours. There's not a speck of a moment when I think of other than you. My every nerve overwhelmed as though you're flowing through my veins like blood; and heart merged in you, as if my chest is hallow- without heart; You therein dwelling all  the time instead of my unruly heart. Every now and then I imagine you: batting your pretty eye lashes as if the moon is playing, toggling between the fullness and the crescent as you flutter your magical eyelids; Your smiling face- glowing like a flower, enchant beholder's soul. I observe every beauty of the beautiful universe--- breathtaking horizons of vales and hills draped with snowy carpets; bracing scene of gardens; bulbous tulips, pink and red roses with charming m

Mother's Lap, A Soothing Abode by Asif Sultan Matta

Mother's Lap, A Soothing Abode Asif Sultan Matta. ~13-05-2015… Still is there the strength and a boundless feeling of security. The security which would make us feel safe and prosperous—the feeling of that wholeness in a single place; that comforting wee aura was our whole world; that beautiful cocoon, which we deemed as a fort for our defense and protection. Any fear we’re struck with would get shaken off; every sorrow shattered, no pain remained anymore, by clinging to it— Yes… I mean mother’s lap- a peaceful abode indeed!  Still is there, balm for our irrepressible wounds; still is that security there, which would make us forget all foes and panics. But let you go and stick to it truly and sincerely; let you feel it and make her feel, “you still need her the way you did when you had no one to cleave to and cuddle. Let you show that utter dependence and that crave for her impeccable love, which would make you grab her and yearn for her when she was far away from you. Let

Your Smile- Asif Sultan Matta

Your_Smile Asif Sultan Matta 10-04-2015 Smile a beautiful curve which straightens everything out, but yours does extraordinarily wonders. My heart highly overwhelms by the curve you put on as you smile. Wish I to glue my eyes with you for your mesmerizing smile till the end of my time. Wish I to be with you till I bid adieu to this mortal world, and even after that. Wish I to look at your rose-like face adorned with catchy petals blooming as they witness the vitalizing  spring. As I see your enchanting face it illuminates mine as the gleaming moon enlightens a deep dark scary night--The night which daunts and misleads every passerby by its profound duskiness, but your moon-like face shows me a way of hope towards my destination; a way of delight; a way of exuberance; a way that pacifies my restlessness; a way that is thorn-less and harmless; a way that goes to a pleasing haunt; a way that doesn't frighten me- a clear and tidy way to an everlasting bliss. Ah! Your smile, a

AN INVISIBLE LOVE- ASIF SULTAN MATTA

An Invisible Love Asif Sultan 26-03-2015 Today, at the crack of dawn I rubbed my eyes and bade adieu to the akin of death. My room suffocating made my breath choke. I stretched my right arm to open the window beside my bed. A solacing breeze was welcomed by my smothering room, that made my surrounding pleasing and placid. As I stood up and kneeled down near the window the tickling surfs kissed my face. I could see the wall of attached green trees-seem defensive border of my territory- and birds- like soldiers alarming my foes that they're there awaking to protect me and my land. As I descend down my eyes from the delighting mountains-swathed by gleaming white snow- near to my window I could see a small mound of mud draped with green grass as if a luring green carpet laid to balm my itching eyes and delight my heart. There came a flock of mynas and squaited thereon, playing naughtily like small kids. I wondered, they're dancing to entertain me; soothe me and give me a be

My Beloved Teacher- a poem by Asif Sultan Matta

Know your Dreams by Asif Sultan Matta.

Know your Dreams Asif Sultan Matta Dreams give you a reason to live, facts don’t.  In order to know one’s dreams one must know ones purpose of life. There are two purposes of one’s life. It is actually only one, but to make it simple I have classified it into two. One is to serve our creator, which Quran talks about is, Wa ma khalak tul jinna wal insa illaa li’yae’budoon” “ We have not created men and Jinn except to worship”. We’ve been created by God so that we may do what he wants us to do; to obey his guidance in our personal and public affairs. The second purpose, which is actually the further manifestation of the former one, is to serve the creation, which Iqbal beautifully explains in the following words, Dard e dil k wastay paida kiya insaan ko Warna taa’at ke liye kuch kam na the Karo’biyan. Man cannot live independently. He needs others' help. There are many dimensions of life, which man falls short to get mastery over. Every one cannot be a doctor to treat h

With every drop of rain- a poem by Asif Sultan Matta

With every drop of rain Our heart beats get gain The calamity we're struck May not hit us again We ask Oh our lord your mercy upon us We confess our sins, And the time went in vain Let rain get halt And our hearts a bit respite Overlook our  pretexts That we'll ahead refrain Angry with our wrongs Clouds keep on bursting Constant in evildoings We yet keep on remain Lost in our own world Forgot you in our life Cruelty, feuds around We're no more humane Serene, peace and values Snatched by our whims By glamour, greed, other links Our souls are in chain The days that we saw All when turned insane Drowning of dear ones May not we see that again. With every drop of rain Our heart beats get gain. ~Asif Sultan Matta

A fruit Vendor...a poem by Asif Sultan Matta

Image
A fruit Vendor...a poem by Asif Sultan Matta An honest fruit vendor sells fresh fruit Sometimes shouting and sometimes mute Apple and orange he's yelling high In making his fruit sell he's not shy His fingers cut by pulling the cart In motivating buyers he's smart His shabby hair give a poor look A lady customer 1 kg apple took The vendor for sale is very grateful Thinks his day would go wonderful He ends up making a lot of money And gets his children bread and honey His wife delighted and wards merry Together they remain very happy. In next morning the vendor does same, In doing all this, he doesn't feel shame. (Asif Sultan Matta)

The Revival of Love- a poem by Asif Sultan Matta

My #New_Poem written on the eve of my B'day. 22-Feb-2015 Love revived, its thirst revived as you          came along; Have I to over be in fix in bitter right and      luring wrong? My wounds healed,  and heart soothed; Like a caged bird gets the undying calm. Your care so pleasing, & concern  serious; Gliding with you ever as dragonflies along Hearts unlike and the pain  alike; Let us bond our souls and be strong It frowns my nose, when you bid adieu, Tryst of ours seek I to prolong, I pined for you, morn and evening, Where had you been for so long? Joy will encompass from every curve Elated with mirth, we'll be cheerful along Prodding and brooding, like the small kids Under a charming rain, we're walking along, Stay with me always and forsake me not, Would stroke your hair & chant for you a song (Asif Sultan Matta)
