AN INVISIBLE LOVE- ASIF SULTAN MATTA

An Invisible Love Asif Sultan 26-03-2015 Today, at the crack of dawn I rubbed my eyes and bade adieu to the akin of death. My room suffocating made my breath choke. I stretched my right arm to open the window beside my bed. A solacing breeze was welcomed by my smothering room, that made my surrounding pleasing and placid. As I stood up and kneeled down near the window the tickling surfs kissed my face. I could see the wall of attached green trees-seem defensive border of my territory- and birds- like soldiers alarming my foes that they're there awaking to protect me and my land. As I descend down my eyes from the delighting mountains-swathed by gleaming white snow- near to my window I could see a small mound of mud draped with green grass as if a luring green carpet laid to balm my itching eyes and delight my heart. There came a flock of mynas and squaited thereon, playing naughtily like small kids. I wondered, they're dancing to entertain me; soothe me and give me a be...

Know your Dreams by Asif Sultan Matta.

Know your Dreams Asif Sultan Matta Dreams give you a reason to live, facts don’t.  In order to know one’s dreams one must know ones purpose of life. There are two purposes of one’s life. It is actually only one, but to make it simple I have classified it into two. One is to serve our creator, which Quran talks about is, Wa ma khalak tul jinna wal insa illaa li’yae’budoon” “ We have not created men and Jinn except to worship”. We’ve been created by God so that we may do what he wants us to do; to obey his guidance in our personal and public affairs. The second purpose, which is actually the further manifestation of the former one, is to serve the creation, which Iqbal beautifully explains in the following words, Dard e dil k wastay paida kiya insaan ko Warna taa’at ke liye kuch kam na the Karo’biyan. Man cannot live independently. He needs others' help. There are many dimensions of life, which man falls short to get mastery over. Every one cannot be a doctor to treat h...

With every drop of rain- a poem by Asif Sultan Matta

With every drop of rain Our heart beats get gain The calamity we're struck May not hit us again We ask Oh our lord your mercy upon us We confess our sins, And the time went in vain Let rain get halt And our hearts a bit respite Overlook our  pretexts That we'll ahead refrain Angry with our wrongs Clouds keep on bursting Constant in evildoings We yet keep on remain Lost in our own world Forgot you in our life Cruelty, feuds around We're no more humane Serene, peace and values Snatched by our whims By glamour, greed, other links Our souls are in chain The days that we saw All when turned insane Drowning of dear ones May not we see that again. With every drop of rain Our heart beats get gain. ~Asif Sultan Matta

A fruit Vendor...a poem by Asif Sultan Matta

Image
A fruit Vendor...a poem by Asif Sultan Matta An honest fruit vendor sells fresh fruit Sometimes shouting and sometimes mute Apple and orange he's yelling high In making his fruit sell he's not shy His fingers cut by pulling the cart In motivating buyers he's smart His shabby hair give a poor look A lady customer 1 kg apple took The vendor for sale is very grateful Thinks his day would go wonderful He ends up making a lot of money And gets his children bread and honey His wife delighted and wards merry Together they remain very happy. In next morning the vendor does same, In doing all this, he doesn't feel shame. (Asif Sultan Matta)

The Revival of Love- a poem by Asif Sultan Matta

My #New_Poem written on the eve of my B'day. 22-Feb-2015 Love revived, its thirst revived as you          came along; Have I to over be in fix in bitter right and      luring wrong? My wounds healed,  and heart soothed; Like a caged bird gets the undying calm. Your care so pleasing, & concern  serious; Gliding with you ever as dragonflies along Hearts unlike and the pain  alike; Let us bond our souls and be strong It frowns my nose, when you bid adieu, Tryst of ours seek I to prolong, I pined for you, morn and evening, Where had you been for so long? Joy will encompass from every curve Elated with mirth, we'll be cheerful along Prodding and brooding, like the small kids Under a charming rain, we're walking along, Stay with me always and forsake me not, Would stroke your hair & chant for you a song (Asif Sultan Matta)
